Communication and Leadership Training
Confident public appearances, constructive communication
Change takes place only when old habits give way to new, successful behaviours. Naturally, all new behaviours need practice – just as a top athlete has to train every day in order to achieve success.
At e-voc coaching, communication and leadership training provides concrete, practical tools to practice new behaviours and develop an appropriate mental mindset. With daily practice and implementation, previously unfamiliar techniques become new habits. New behaviours that support change develop into habits themselves and evolve into part of a new corporate culture.
The repertoire of training topics available is diverse. The frequency, content, scope, budget etc. are all discussed, developed and contractually defined in advance with the client and e-voc coaching.
Coaching
Coaching for individuals in business contexts
Coaching provides resource- and solution-orientated support in learning and development processes for people in both their professional and private lives. The focus is on ‘becoming aware’ of behaviour. As an experienced coach, I accompany people in change processes, identify their stumbling blocks and develop joint solutions to overcome these. I also support individuals in discovering their potential so that they can pursue their life plan and life tasks unimpeded, realise their peak performance and achieve their development goals. Coaching allows you to empower yourself and to master challenges more independently and effectively, all in the spirit of helping people to help themselves.
Coaching for individuals in business contexts
Coaching is now recognised as an effective strategy in many companies to promote effective employee development and retention. Leaders supported by a coach benefit from appropriate guidance in their leadership role, as problems can be addressed and solutions found during coaching. Internal company coaches can lay the foundations for strengthening individual motivation, which leads to improved team bonding and facilitates joint success.
Coaching creates a space in which managers and employees in key positions can develop effective and open communication as well as authentic and successful behaviour. It aims to break through habitual thought patterns that block clarity and innovation. It involves discovering the leader in oneself, someone who has a strong impact on employees, peers and superiors and is perceived as a role model. Coaching does not set guidelines and does not take control. It supports the manager in developing a more coherent attitude both towards themselves and others. In the business environment, the overarching goal of coaching is to (re)create a proactive, motivating corporate culture based on trust and personal responsibility.
Team Development
Team Coaching for greater commitment and high performance
By definition, team development is the process by which teams come together as a group to achieve their goals through self-organisation. They drive forward the tasks assigned to them and form effective relationships within and outside their own team that ensure mutual success.
A team coach can help to define or refresh the shared values, principles and goals if a team is in one of the phases of forming, storming, norming, performing or adjourning. Coaching acts to de-escalate simmering or current conflicts and provides an opportunity to establish a constructive team culture.
Team Coaching is useful when:
- the team is undergoing change due to a merger or reorganisation or is newly formed and needs to be able to act quickly and deliver results.
- individual members of the team are keen to understand each other better in order to better deploy their resources according to individual talents and in a more harmonised manner.
- e.g. a team development workshop on the basis of personality and potential analyses such as DISC, motivators, etc. can be organised.
